Music is a valuable part of each service at Salem. Many musical groups including the Sr. Choir, the Joyful Noisemakers (children), the Chimes of Salem and the Men of Salem take turns performing Sunday mornings. In addition the pipe organ at Salem (partially funded by Andrew Carnegie) and currently played by Dr. Darrell Woomer, adds glorious sound to each hymn.
